Our Vitamin D3 – Vitamin D3 4000 iu (100ug) 120 capsules are the highest strength available. Take 1 capsule daily with a meal for 1-3 months. If you have blood test the level of Vit D will be shown. Vitamin D must be 50 mg/dl or greater for best protection. If the test comes back at 50 or greater, that’s perfect. If your result is lower than this level (e.g. in the winter), then you must fix it.
What does Vitamin D at 50 mg/dl do for us?
1. Boosts Mood
2. Boosts Immunity
3. Protects Your Heart
4. Cancer Prevention
5. Preserves Memory
6. Strengthens Bones
7. Calms Blood Pressure
8. Helps Manage Diabetes
1. Boosts Your Mood
Vitamin D3 is an essential nutrient in the production of neurotransmitters in the body and brain. The chemical messengers that depend upon Vitamin D can NOT work when it is low. Important for all school children and students.
2. Boosts Immunity
Vitamin D3 boosts our immunity. Nothing ruins an academic performance more than missing class. A study conducted at the Queen Mary University of London is one of the most robust arguments that vitamin D3 benefits go beyond bone and muscle health. Coronavirus, mononucleosis, or the common cold will all die faster when Vitamin D is above 50.
3. Protects Your Heart
Vitamin D3 reduces plaque buildup and lowers the risk of heart disease. It helps regulate blood pressure, inflammation, and insulin sensitivity.
4. Cancer Prevention
Numerous studies show that vitamin D3 helps prevent cancer, especially cancers of the breast, bladder, prostate, and colon. I want my body Vitamin D level to stay greater than 60 mg/dl.
5. Preserves Your Memory
Several studies show a strong link between cognitive impairment and vitamin D3 deficiency. According to those studies, when the brain does not get enough Vitamin D3, the receptors may malfunction. In turn, this could cause dementia and even Alzheimer’s disease. If your vitamin D level falls below 25 you are more likely to develop cognitive impairment problems than those who had levels 75 and above. Vitamin D also helps clear amyloid plaque which is the hallmark of Alzheimer’s disease. Make sure your grandparents are taking Vitamin D3.
6. Strengthens Bones
Vitamin D3 also helps in the regulation of the levels of calcium and phosphorus in the blood. It boosts calcium absorption in the intestines and helps reclaim it from the kidneys (to prevent its excretion).
7. Calms Your Blood Pressure
It suppresses renin, one of the hormones that raise blood pressure. Blood pressure is typically lower in the summer and higher in the winter — especially in those whose Vitamin D levels went up in the summer and down in the winter.
8. Helps Manage Diabetes
A study conducted by the American Diabetes Association shows that vitamin D3 helps regulate insulin levels. Vitamin D supplementation can enhance the body’s sensitivity to insulin. This counteracts the poor responsiveness to treatment in pre-diabetic and diabetic patients.
